A Five-Day Immersion in Tuscan Wine Country—Where Food and Life Flow Together
Where Food & Wine Are Inseparable
For us Italians, food and wine aren’t separate experiences, they’re a conversation that’s been happening for centuries. In Bolgheri, you’ll live this the way we do: cooking with me in the morning using olive oil from our trees, then tasting wines in the afternoon from vineyards you can see from my kitchen window. You’ll understand why the seafood at our favorite beach restaurant calls for a different wine than the bistecca we’ll share at a hillside estate. You’ll watch a cheesemaker craft Pecorino, then taste it that same day paired with a wine his neighbor makes down the road.
A Five Day Immersion That Will Last A Life-Time.
Over five days, these experiences weave together—the cooking classes, the winery visits, the meals at restaurants where Arnaud and I are regulars, the village walks, the morning coffee by the sea. You’ll stop thinking about “wine tasting” and “cooking class” as separate activities and start feeling how they’re part of the same rhythm, the same philosophy, the same everyday beauty that made us choose this coast as our home.
How We'll Spend Our Five Days Together
Arnaud and I will be with you every day—walking you through the cobblestone streets of medieval villages we know by heart, introducing you to winemakers who’ve become our friends over the years, showing you the castle tower where you can see three thousand years of history spread below you. You’ll cook with me twice in Casa Toscana, our 18th-century farmhouse, where the kitchen overlooks the olive grove and the recipes I teach are the ones my Nanny Lina taught me.
We’ll eat at the restaurants where the owners greet us by name, the organic cheese farm where we’ve watched their children grow up, the vineyards where Mediterranean breezes shape wines collectors hunt worldwide.
You’ll see how the stone archways in Bolgheri have stood for centuries, taste why coastal Tuscan seafood requires different wines than inland bistecca, and understand what it means when locals talk about terroir—because you’ll have felt the soil, met the people, and tasted it all yourself.
This isn’t observation—it’s immersion.
By day three, shopkeepers will recognize you. By day five, you’ll understand why we chose to build our lives here. You’ll connect not just with Arnaud and me, but with the winemakers, the artisans, the producers, and the seven other guests sharing this journey. These connections—to place, to people, to a way of life that values quality over speed—are what guests tell us they remember most.
THE BOLGHERI WINE ROAD
Through the Heart of Wine Country
The legendary Bolgheri Wine Road winds through olive groves and vineyards, connecting villages and estates. This isn’t just transportation—it’s part of the experience.
Cypress-lined avenues. Historic wine estates. Small family wineries. The landscape tells the wine story: proximity to the sea, hillside exposures, the concentration of excellence in a small area.
Meet Your Hosts
Join us for a life-time experience of Tuscan lifestyle, the way locals live it. You’ll meet our friends, the winemakers, cook in our kitchen, eat at our favorite restaurants, and drink the best wine Tuscany has to offer.
