Away from the big tourist scene, Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri are easy-going, friendly small towns on the Etruscan Coast, nestled between the Tuscan countryside and the shimmering Mediterranean sea. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and beautiful cypress-lined routes, they are both medieval towns, with a centuries-old history told by their narrow streets, castles and architecture. They offer natural beauty, local artists and producers, little artisan shops and fabulous food. They are amazing places to visit and live!
